  1. I'm in search of a flash video player I can use on my website - ad free. I'd also like to have the ability to add several videos to it so I can add and remove flv video files from a play list.

Instead of building one from scratch in flash, I'm interested in one that's pre-built.

Does anyone know of a flash video player that supports this type of functionality? Or even a HTML 5 video player would do as well.

    Thanks!

  3. Do you know if you can link directly to a video clip from an external web page with that player?

  4. I think in order for flash to be able to use assets on another domain, that domain will need a cross domain policy xml file that allows it.

HTML5 video tag does not support FLV at this point and if you want you videos to work in *most* browsers, you will need to encode the videos as h.264 and Ogg Theora with specific presets.

I use the JW-flashplayer and an xlm-playlist on my site (the same domain), the mp4-files from a video hosting site.
    See an example here: http://home.euphonynet.be/roland_marianne/indo/INDO_blip_mp4.htm
