  1. I am a non-technical man. I have a hobby of converting files from one format to another. I use free tools like AVC, Format Factory, etc. I find some -- not all -- MP4 videos from youtube when converted to AVI [xvid] have this out-of-sync audio! Also, I want to convert them to a high resolution full screen videos like the one from DVDs that have 720x576 resolution and are visible on any TV screen. How do I go about it? Please understand this.. I cannot understand technical stuff and not in a position to learn. Thanks.

  5. It's good and working for me. However, it appears to be slow on my machine.

    Hi Baldrick,

The videos that have this h.264 don't work -- the audio leads video [screen freezes but audio plays well and continuously].

But those with h.263 run smoothly. How do I select h.263 ?
