I am looking for a new blu-ray player that can do the following characteristics instead of doing a DIY job:
1) record from various sources:
DVB-T i.e. terrestrial digital broadcast standard but HD prepared
DVB-S i.e. digital broadcast through satellite but DVB-S2 capable preferred
Analogue inputs i.e. EuroScart (21 pin)
2) That can also play a number of video files from internal HDD with multi-lingual audio tracks i.e. MKV and MP4
3) Where the HDD is accessible via LAN or Wifi to transfer video files
4) Frontal access for USB pen-drive and/or SD card
Anybody knows if it exists?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Since you seem to be asking about a recorder instead of a player, you could check here for some possibilities: http://www.blu-ray.com/recorders/
Be aware that DRM may not allow you to record or copy some HD content. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_rights_management
And welcome to our forums.
