Video repair

i have a video file that wont play in WMP its a corrputed file it plays only the audio of the file but then i searched some video repair software and i havent found anything though i stumbled on a program called GOM player and it says it skips the bad frames and plays the video and i tried it and it works but is there any way i can convert or repair the video to play in WMP too?

You can try run it through avidemux, open it, under video and audio choose copy, save as a new avi,mp4,mkv etc.

If that wont work then please give more info about the file. Use mediainfo to identify video and audio codec and container.
