Whenever I make the target format DVD mpeg2enc or DVD ffmpeg, the resulting files always have really bad color, and I'm not sure why. The main problem is the reds; they all look rather orange in the new files. Can somebody help me? Thanks.

Do you make DVDs from source files that usually have common characteristics, like the format? (DV/DivX/FLV/MP4/MKV)
Can you link to a short clip in the source format, for me to test?

  3. Get a color test pattern chart. Check the colors before and after making a DVD. Also keep in mind that highly saturated bright red RGB data will usually result in illegal colors when converted to YUV. So if you're making DVDs from computer generated video you have to be careful about the colors you use.
