I have used MP4Box before to remux H264 and AAC files, but is there something similar for FLV files with AVI and MP3 streams? I can't view the AVI file without installing ffdshow-tryouts and enabling VP6F for VFW and I don't want to install anything.

I don't think so because your video stream is encoded with VP6 codec. Unless you recompress it with a standard codec (divx, xvid...)

  3. You can use Avidemux to remux a flash AVI video stream and it's MP3 audio stream into a FLV or AVI container, but i don't think that is going to solve your viewing problem, since the video will still be in the VP6 format. You can also use Avidemux to re-encode the video stream, but that seems a bit pointless if you just want to view the file.

Media Player Classic - Home Cinema is a very good self contained video player that will enable you to watch these files without installing extra codecs on top or re-encoding the content.
