Looking to convert some lossless-ly captured material over to a more portable format for editing. This is SD material. DV seems like a good choice as far as codec goes.
From what I can gather, Cedocida remains the only real DV codec option out there, as far as free, good quality encoders are concerned, despite little development or even discussion about it in a couple of years. True or false?
- Is Cedocida really the DV codec of choice?
- If I'm looking for something more multiplatform and widely supported (but editor-friendly) than Lagarith and its ilk, is DV indeed the best choice or am I missing an option?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!
