Ive been tring to get video off a sony cam but having problems with the drivers. the message i get when i plug the camera in is (DEVICE DRIVER SOFTWARE WAS NOT SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED)
USB Composite Device Ready to use
Unidentified Device No Driver Found
USB Audio Device Ready to use
Im assuming the unidentified Device is the Video Device Driver. Ive searched for drivers but only ones i can find are not for Windows7. Ive also tried downloading WinDV but didnt help identifing the video... Please help. This is was i get for upgrading to Windows 7 early...

continue in your first post. it's digital cam that need firewire to export the video, not usb.
