Is it possible to convert multiple Avi's to DVD using Vegas Pro then author in DVD Architect? I read briefly on another forum (which I can't find again) that it was possible. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

if you don't know what vegas does or how to use it, you would be better off using something like convertxtodvd which will take several avi files and make a dvd for you.

    Too vague.

What sort of avi files ? mediainfo tree view is good for this.
Do you want multiple titles on the DVD ?
Are you doing any editing before you encode for DVD ?

Vegas is designed for editing. You work on a single video at a time. If you are going to create a DVD, you edit, then output the video/audio encoded as DVD compliant mpeg-2/AC3. Repeat for all your titles. Once you have all your video finished and ready, open DVD Architect, import your titles, and create a DVD.

If your AVI files are just downloaded movies/episodes, use convertXtoDVD or AVStoDVD instead, as Vegas is not designed for this type of work.

Place all of your AVIs on the timeline of Vegas, edit them to your liking, then render them to an Mpeg2 file. Open DVD Ach. and import the Mpeg2 and burn your DVD
