Simple question that I can't seem to find the answer to.
Recording video in MXP mode, 24P. Can I just drop the SDHC card into a card reader and transfer the MTF files to my computer for archive? I know the transfered video will work, but in regards to the supporting files that's on the SDHC card, do I need those also, or are just the MTS files necessary?
Thanks.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

the large file is all that's needed. the others contain things like the timecodes.

Great... thanks. And, the timecode is not needed for the video's date andtime stamp on the file, right? The file itself is already stamped with a creation date?

right. and yes, but the file date will change when it's copied to the hard drive to the "new" date of creation.
