Okay, so I had this DVD-R... It had a mass of videos on it, and I wanted to take them off and re-do the discs. Take some of the videos out, put different ones in, etc..

Anyway, I used Magic DVD Ripper to rip the original mpeg-2 file out of it.. the problem is that the videos were all in one long video, not separate videos.

I tried cutting them up with TMPGenc, but all my videos come out with no sound. I tried Boilsoft Video Splitter, and the output file looks to be correct. Uncompressed video, and sound. But DVDit Pro tells me those videos are not DVD compliant now.. So Video splitter must have changed something in the structure of the files. I don't know..

Anyway.. What the heck can I use to split these up without doing any re-encoding, and leaving them DVD compliant? I want them the same size and everything, I just need them to be chopped up.

  2. Use some sort of VOB cutter, ones such as MPEG2Cut2 or VOBSplitter.
