Sorry if this has been covered a hundred times before. Can I load a DVD (VOP/BUP format) movie onto a usb thumb drive, plug the thumb drive into the flat screen TV USB port and be able to play the movie? If so, is VOB the only format I could use on the thumb drive?

    Thanks.

Unlikely. Read the manual for supported video/audio formats. Most only support jpg stills and mp3 audio. Others call the port a "service port". High end sets have a list.
