  1. Hi

Does anyone can recommend me a software that can be use to record phone call into a computer.
We have one right now but it is really crappy.
The only spec that would be nice to have is

-to be able to record 1 phone call per files automatically (stop recording when there is no noise on the phone and start recording when a phone call starts)
-to be able to keep all audio files recorded locally automatically

    thanx for your help

ps. I already have the hardware to connect the phone to a computer TLP104

Pci modem = bitware > voice box

Just about came bundled with every dialup modem ever made and sold

  3. I don't know what that box you bought actually is but it is completely unnecessary. What you need is a called a voice modem, get a decent US Robotics, it will come with software that should work fine. You can have voice mailboxes, music on hold, get fairly fancy.

A standard modem will also work fine without some of the extra features and possibly slightly less audio quality.

  4. I use that box because the phone conversation I want to record is not from a standard analogic phone but from a Cisco IP Phone
this is why I need that hardware to get the audio from the phone to the sound card ...

Can't you use Skype to make the calls and record them with a program like Total Recorder?
