What would be good Mac DVD burning programs that run on Tiger? I don't need anything too fancy, but I'd like to be able to do my own menu background, menu music, and preferably chapter selection. I've looked into 4Media DVD Creator and MovieGate but neither is really impressing me so far (I can't figure how to make the dang logo at the bottom right go away with MovieGate and I am worried it won't go away cuz I am using a trial version). Thanks.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Sorry, but "my own menu background, menu music, and preferably chapter selection" = fancy
What kind of budget do you have?

I'd say any budget and if I can't do it I can't. I just want to know what my options are regardless of their pricing.

iDVD will do what you want. Look here: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=iDVD/7.0/en/6658.html
There are also fairly simple hacks for modifying iDVD's background, themes, etc.
Toast also does DVDs with menus but nothing as complex as what iDVD can do. -
Hmmmm.....not sure if iDVD and Complex can go together. Why hasn't anyone mentioned DVD Studio Pro?
-
Well, if one really wants complexity, DVD Studio Pro is certainly one's cup of tea.
Compared to the -results- one may achieve with Toast, iDVD and "complex" in one sentence is apropos. -
Indeed, buy DVD Studio Pro: http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2F...reative=390957
That's why I asked for a budget.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

A good free app I use pretty often is called Burn. It'll even transcode the videos to MPEG-2 for you, but it doesn't make menus. It can also make DivX-compatible discs for DivX players. It's handy for data and music discs as well:
