I'm new to this forum and I then apologize if my first question is not in the appropriate section.
The question is: I have sono MP4 movies encoded at 100 CQ with Handbrake (on my Mac) in standard definition (720x336, by the way; I decided for this resolution instead of a correct 720x305 2.35:1 standard in order to have smaller horizontal bars at the top and bottom) and I woul like to apply a sort Photoshop's "Unsharp Mask" effect in order to reduce the "softness" I can see on my 16/9 Sharp LCD TV (1366x768) pixels.
Is there any way to achieve such a goal? I cal also work in Winsow environment if necessary.
TIA
majortom

You could try AVIDemux and apply a sharpen filter and re-encode the video. Problem is, this will reduce the quality and with that you may lose any benefit from applying a sharpening filter. Best to redo the original video with the desired settings. But give it a try. There are Windows and Mac versions of this program available.
And welcome to our forums.
