    hi
    in premiere cs3
when im importing any file (beside uncompressed MPG files)
most of the times he work smooth , if its not HD format
until the part im adding effects and then the chapter i added the effects get stuck and not working smoth
until i rendering this chapter. and it waste too much time that i have to render every section im adding effect
in compressed files like avi wmv mov etc..
and in HD files its working like hell
because the renderings takes much longer than the regular AVI DV files
and my computer got the requirements that cs3 needs in HD files and ofcourse also in avi dv files
so what can i do about it?
and if i have to convert it to uncompressed format which converter do u recommand?
    cheers
    eli

What CPU is in your computer? How much RAM do you have?

Huffyuv is a lossless codec and will be faster, but if your CPU is slow it won't make much of a difference.
