DVBViewer supports playback of both DVB subtitles and teletext subtitles in MPEG ts streams.

Yes, I know that mpc-hc is supposed to support DVB subtitles (after version v1.3.1335.0) But I couldnt find out how should I configure the player to be able to playback DVB subs. Have anyone ever achieved to see DVB subs with mpc-hc?

  6. yes fk, I know VLC does the job. For some reason we need to use MPC-HC as player. So I need to find a way to see DVB subs with MPC_HC.

I know this is an old thread but in case anyone still needs the info and reads this. I installed MPC-HC and tried a TS video with DVB subs.

Turning on and off subtitles had no effect. I already have directvobsub installed but that didn't help either. The only way I finally found to get subtitles to show was by setting Play --> Filters --> Lav splitter source and select the subtitles. Lav splitter was installed as part of my K-Lite codec pack but are available from their download site http://1f0.de/lav-splitter/ . I have not installed from this way, only from the codec pack.
