Thought i would give the forum a whirl as there are some seriously knowledgeable guys on here .

Set up is that i have a surround sound system with one digital audio output. Yet i want to set up my PS3 AND my Sky Satellite through the sound system. I really do NOT want to use the audio out jack plugs on the amp. I know there is a splitter for 1 device into 2 amps but apparently i think the audio gets somewhat corrupted if used as 2 devices into one amp.

Any suggestions if there is such a splitter that could avoid such distortion issues?

    Many Thanks

That is correct. You can't simply combine two digital signals. Perhaps a switch is in order.

Why not? As long as only one device at a time is sending a digital signal.

    See this.
