  1. My laptop (Acer) keeps shutting down constantly. I've noticed that the times that is shutting down are the times when I use messenger + webcam + surf on the internet...so basically when it's overloaded...
Any idea what might be the issue?

How is it shutting down? Blue screen or just turning completely off?
Checked it for overheating with something like Hardware Monitor? http://www.cpuid.com/hwmonitor.php
Does it give you an error code?

CPU, processor cooling fan, processor cooling fan controller, motherboard, power supply board, main battery - or the aforementioned driver issue. I suspect it's more likely a hardware issue, but laptops are not my strong suit. While I and the family own several, including some netbooks: I would not enjoy the prospect of taking another one apart to troubleshoot it. I did have a Compaq years back that I had apart several times over various issues - won't buy another after HP bought Compaq.

If this only started recently, I would say that it is because of heat. With the laptop on, see if you are getting adequate airflow out of the vents. Dust clogs up the heatsink vents all the time, resulting in emergency power downs, initiated by the CPU.
