I have windows 7 on my laptop. I used to previously use pinnacle to transfer the movies from camcorder to laptop using the DVC100 cable. But now that I have windows 7 it doesnt work. The program says video device not detected. Whats going on, why wont it work
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

DVC100 (digital Video Creator) is a fairly outdate hardware device from Pinnacle Systems.
The last driver released for it was in March 2003 for the following operating systems: Win98SE, Win2000, and WinMe)

Perhaps is time to consider new hardware fully compatible with windows 7 or vista, such as the Hauppauge 1212 HD-PVR

or maybe the ADS Pyro A/V link (I have one of these and it has worked excellent over the years for my analog-to-digital conversions)
