I'm on Windows 7 64-bit and installed the 64-bit version. I've also enabled DVXA.
During playback, CPU never goes about 10%. However, I still get some random pixelation.
Am I missing something?
This is an i3 laptop with 4GB of DDR3 with a discreet Nvidia 300M graphic card.

Thread: 1080p MKV playback using MPCHC

Have you tried different video output directshow ? Under options->playback->output.
How does it work if disable dxva? Also pixeletion?
What mpchc version? Latest official build or beta?
Maybe your files are corrupt. Maybe they aren't DXVA compliant.
Version: 1.3.1249.0
I'm only running DVXA output filters where possible, having unchecked the similar ffmpeg option.
The video is MPEG4 ISO and AC3 audio.
It says "Playing DVXA" in the bottom left corner.
You might also try disabling MPCHC's internal MKV reader/splitter filter.
Your file probably just uses h.264 features that aren't supported by DXVA.
The 1080p file is an old BD rip and the smaller file is 720p TV show from a few weeks ago.
Both have the same codecs, weirdly enough.
I tried in DVXA and both files either had pixelation or didn't play (TV Show).
Without DVXA, both files played fine, with no pixelation.
Very odd. My graphic card is a mobile one, but recent enough (310M from nVidia).
