Are they the same people, i have been searching to buy Mitsubishi Kagaku Media but i can't find any, and i see the Verbatim name when ever i look up Mitsubishi Kagaku Media somebody please help me understand!

As far as I know, we don't get any MKM branded DVD discs here. Mitsubishi (MCC) uses the Verbatim brand name in the US.
Verbatim discs sold here are made by factories in more than one country, but not Japan. Sometimes they are not even made in a Mitsubishi-owned factory, but they are manufactured to meet Mitsubishi's standards. I've been using their products for 5 years now, and have rarely had a bad disc from them. Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden/JVC are the two best brands sold here. Verbatim is sold in some brick-and-mortar stores, but Taiyo Yuden/JVC must be purchased online.
I hope this explains the situation here.
MKM is the corporate parent of Verbatim. Verbatim is the brand used to sell MKM's media.
