  2. It's a shame you can't remove comments from people that obviously have no clue about what they're doing or how things work.

I use ONE type of TDK media.....the 900MB CD media....and that's only because I have to. The slim pickings of other 900MB media come from extremely shady manufacturers.

Yeah, they made nice audio tape. Shame the CDs and DVDs aren't up to par.

TDK did have decent 8X DVD-R media at one time, though not quite as reliable as Verbatim. It was the first brand I tried in 2005 when I bought a DVD recorder and a DVD burner. A year or so later, I started to see a lot more coasters. I nerver used TDK again after that.

I used to use ONLY TDK (DVD+Rs and CD-Rs), then they started giving me bad burns and I switched. TDK used to be for me what Verbatim is for many users on this forum. Won't buy TDK ever again. Now use Verbatim DVD+Rs and Sony CD-Rs, no problems.

Haven't used TDK DVDRs since 2x, at latest, 4x days. At that time, IIRC, they were well-regarded, and I never had a problem with them.

Anyway, that amazing review should be removed.

I must admit that I haven't really kept up with this, but I recall -- not all that long ago -- statements being made here (and not by idiots) to the effect that there was not nearly the risk with major brand CDs as we know there is with most major brand DVD blanks. But is this no longer the case ? Has the general crappiness migrated down to the lower capacity optical media cousins ?

In CDs, I still use Memorex, Imation, Maxell, sometimes Sony. TY doesn't make CDs . . . or do they ?
When in Las Vegas, don't miss the Pinball Hall of Fame Museum ( http://www.pinballmuseum.org/ ) (http://lasvegas.wikia.com/wiki/Las_V...of_Fame_Museum ) -- over 150 tables from 6+ decades of this gradually disappearing American art form.

For the most part that is true seeker. It's hard to find bad CD media. I use Sony CD media mostly and people trash that choice too.

However....blaming ImgBurn for burn errors on anything short of a piece of toast usually results in a 98% "Idiot" rating.

    Personally,
I use your software, covers me 100%, no need of trying something else.

However, negative comments must exist in the forums, too ! (MORE THAN THE POSSITIVE)
Makes you improove your product more, and finally make US happier.
People visiting forums have questions and need ansewrs.(That's why they're coming !) They are NOT all proffesionals !
(For the "experts" they need fun, there are a lot of shrinks out there...)

Sometimes there are details in the installation of a programme, or i have to read 10 pages before i can use it, ...
Well, i' m not going to...! I've got my own job, i don't want to learn, and i don't need "lessons" for my hobiee.
And i feel free enough to give my comment !!!

"Egineering success" is a creation of a product that everybody can use !

Keep on the excellent work you make in IMGBURN.

Actually moderators can remove it. I've already reported (remi1's) comment as a "CRAP" comment. Hopefully baldrick or one of the mod's will remove it.

Thanks Lightning UK for the great software!

-edited for clarity on what comment I was referring to

    1. The "CRAP" is one of the options that the board admin has given us for reporting comments left in tools.
If you go to the comments section of any tool and see a comment that is abusive or just plain wrong you can click "Report this Comment" in the bottom right of that comment.

You will then get a page that looks like this with the following options for reporting the comment.

I chose "CRAP" to report his comment because that's exactly what it was.

    2. Not really sure what you are asking there.

    3. ???????

remi1's posting a bad review for imgburn because of the media he is using is just not right. I have no problem with people leaving negative comments for software when it is warranted but faulting a software because of media incompatibilities is just wrong.

Looks like the mod's removed remi1's comment from the listing.
