Use something like Aften with one of the GUIs to encode the 6 mono wavs into a 5.1 AC3 audio track, then use an authoring tool to create the DVD. You will have to put a video with the audio, but this could be a still image or a black frame. Either will use very little bitrate.

How did you create the 6 mono wavs ?
Do you know which channel is which ?
How did you create the LFE channel ?

So you are creating a 6 channel mono audio track ? What's the point ? If the amp has Dolby Pro Logic, or better yet, Pro Logic II, it will do a far better job creating fake surround that what you are trying to do.

    hello

i have the same problem. i have 5 mono wav files (exported from abletons live). then i import the 5 files in soundtrack pro and export them as a 6-channel-wav (without lfe). my problem is now: how can i burn this 6-channel-wav-file on a dvd, so that i can hear the 5 different files on the separated loudspeakers (lf,rf,c,lr, rr) of my dvd-system (jvc th-g31).

    thanks for helping!

Create a DVD Video with a simple black video or still image that requires very little bitrate

Any authoring tool - DVD Styler, GUIForDVDAuthor or any commercial tool. You can create the video with a simple avisynth script and HCEnc
