Hi guys. i am wanting to make a video of the waterfall fireworks u see falling from bridges or in concerts. can anyone help?

Yes. The next time there is an event where waterfall fireworks are being ignited, set up your camcorder on a tripod and roll tape.
Or do your own, hiring out a company that specializes in firework events, and videotape in your own setting.
(You DO know that the pyrotechnics in the Jacko pic you posted are REAL -- not digital effects, don't you?)
You can do it with particle simulation in AE
Trapcode particular is a 3rd party plugin, but very powerul

You can search google for tutorials, there should be many. Search for "After Effects" and "fireworks"
Yes I know they are real. I have contacted many pyro companies in Australia and none are keen to help. Thanks for the links, I will check them out
Go through the tutorials at VideoCopilot.net. Andy Kramer has almost 100 tutorials from basic to more complicated effects, including sparks and rain. He usually uses the built-in effects, although sometimes he uses a particular external plugins. His video tuts are easy to follow (and can be downloaded with firefox/video download helper for repeat viewing). You will find plenty there to solve your problem.
