vob2mpg Pro- wont play video when ifo loaded, exports OK

Just installed today.

Tried everything mentioned in this prior thread...running Win7 home.

I exported to a folder, and opened mpeg with winmedia center, showtime. MP Classic and it plays; just would like the preview window in V2M to play also.

Tried Dscaler really dont want to run Dscaler, plus-do you just run it? then use Preferred Filter tweaker?

As you have Windows 7: can you run Preferred Filter Tweaker and set the MPEG2 preferred option to DScaler5 MPEG-2 decoder? You may need to reboot thereafter

Ran this but all it says is all codecs Mircrosoft-no options to change to.
I must be missing something....

any other tips?

Hi. Its not DScaler the program its DScaler5 the codec. If you install that then you will have that option in Preferred Filter Tweaker (should you need it).

Alternatively - i have just uploaded a new build which allows you to try alternative DVD players in the Settings:





If you are having this issue with Type 2, try Type 1 (or vice versa)

Ok, I have the new build installed and it autoplayed when .ifo loaded.

However, no sound...install more codecs?
