Do you mean that your TV has 1 audio and 1 video input connector and the combo unit has 2 audio (L and R) and 1 video output connectors? If so, go to Radio Shack and you can buy what they call a "Y connector" which accepts 2 RCA inputs (look up "RCA jack" online if you don't know what that is - it should be what you are talking about) and can provide one male RCA output that will go into the TV.

By the way, weekends are bad times to post here looking for help, but if you weren't one of those "post my question and then leave when I get an answer, never to return" type of users you'd know that. I'm not trying to insult you, but I call them as I see them.

I checked some specs on your DVD/VCR. Possible that the connectors that are being referred to "Combo player has the 3 composite cable plugs" are really the component plugs. They are usually color coded blue, green, and red. On the other hand, depending on the type TV and age, if it does not have those plugs, possibly the composite video ( color code yellow ) and audio ( color codes white or - red and white if stereo ) are what will work. If there are still questions, a model more specific than Wal-Mart brand tv would be helpful in trying to help.
I see the player also has S-video output but it is possible that the tv in question does not have them either.
If the device referred to as "an RCA to Co axl cable converter" is actually also called RF modulator, that should provide a solution.

I hope one of these will help.
