The problem, when I hook my computer up to my HDTV with an HDMI cable I get no audio on the TV.
So I'm trying to hook my computer to my HDTV via an HDMI cable. It's HDMI at both ends. My graphics card is a ATI Radeon 3400 which is controlled with the Catalyst Control Center. Just to be safe I downloaded the very newest drivers tonight and that still didn't do the trick.
When I look at the Catalyst panel, Catalyst seems to think (falsely) that my TV is hooked up via DVI (which the attached screen shot will show)
I'm sooo not a tech person so if you have any suggestions please explain them as you would a child

[EDIT]
It sounds like you need to uninstall the CCC and just install the display driver.
