I'm in the market for wireless headphones. I'm trying to figure out how to connect them to my current setup.

Below is a picture of the receiver. It has 5 speakers connected to it. My pc is also connected to it with a 'headphone-rca wire' (red&white) plugging into aux. At the bottom left where it says PHONES is the headphone jack. If the wireless headphones connect into that, will I have to disconnect them each time I want my pc sound to come from the speakers?

I'm a bit confused cause i've seen the wireless headphones with red and white connection as well...

It depends, with my receiver the speakers stay on with it plugged in.
The only way to know is read the manual or try it with a pair of wired headphones.

Just buy the wireless headphones that come with the rca connectors.I believe the sound will go off since it says in the manual that the sound is automatically changed to stereo sound when the heaphones are connected.
Ben Johnson-I didnt take any stereos!

Connect the wireless headphone transmitter into the line-out outputs on the receiver. Of course, then you'll have the opposite problem: you'll have to turn off the speakers every time you want to listen with headphones.

Side note: that speaker should not be sitting directly atop the DVD/Surround Sound receiver. Internal magnets and sound vibrations are very harsh on the unit beneath.

So if I connect it to line out, the headphones will get the sound that comes from the receiver right? If i turn off the speakers that means the whole unit goes off...not quite sure what you mean?

@filmboss: that really sucks man, I really don't have another spot for it lol. I thought the subwoofer might damage it, that's why I keep it a good 2 feet away...didn't think the speakers could have a negative impact.

    Yes.

Many receivers have a switch to turn off the speakers. Or an A/B/off switch to select between different speaker sets. Or you can just turn the volume down at the reciever (line-out shouldn't be effected by that and the headphones should have their own volume control).
