Video Preview problem in Vista

When I first bought VOB2MPG PRO I had trouble getting the video preview to work under Vista.
Eventually I found it worked ok if I manually turned off Aero.
It then worked fine until I downloaded the latest build (3.0.0501).
Now it won't work at all with or without Aero.
There isn't even a message when you load files saying that Aero is being turned off.
I tried going back to the previous version but the video preview in that now won't work with or without Aero.
This is very frustrating and I regretfully will have to dump VOB2MPG if I can't find the problem which is a shame as in other respects it works really well.
Has anyone out there any idea what the problem could be.

I suspect there may be a change in your system - codec wise. Drop me an email and i will send you a build which tries additional options when i comes to the preview.
