    DVDauthor solution is attached.

Several titlesets, cell jump commands via root menus, 1/2 sec fake chapters in the beginning and end of each 4:3 and 1:3 title, to enable "seamless" chapter skipping.

g12 register is 1 or 2 depending on where you want to jump - first or last chapter in title.

The only headache is precise chapter (cell) timing, DVDauthor seems to select closest I-frame randomly - any ideas are welcome!

I am assuming this is an attempt to get seamless insertion of 4:3 material from another titleset into a 16:9 title. I don't have an answer, but I foresee several problems.

    1. You cannot get seamless play across titlesets. The act of moving between titlesets and seeking the new title takes too long, and precludes a seamless join. You also cannot get seamless chapters across multiple titlesets.

    2. You will experience aspect ratio problems with many players if you jump between 16:9 and 4:3 material when trying to make it seem like a single title. There is a reason 4:3 and 16:9 material must be keep in different titlesets.

  5. Yeah....4x3 and 16x 9 assets can't reside in the same VTS so there has to be a non-seamless pause while the players laser heads up into the VMG then back into the 2nd VTS.

All authoring tools wont even let you put both into 1 VTS. Does DVDauthor allow this? If so, Id never be using that tool...ever!

Looking at the XML file the OP posted, the titles are in different titlesets, so there won't be a seamless jump

DVDAuthor is very mature and stable. I use GfD myself.
It will let you do some non-standard things, like having both PAL and NTSC on the same DVD, but warns you.
