    I have cable TV, and LCD, and would like to capture TV shows to a PVR device.
    I would greatly appreciate some guidance as to which product to buy.

    Does your cable company offer a PVR tuner?

    In the US market, Tivo or a PC controlling a cable box are the main alternatives.
