I need to convert ISO to AVI/Divc/MPEG with a file size for 700mb or 1 gig. Is there a pay program out there that will do this? I currently convert my dvd with DVD Fad Platinum. I have tried Fair Use, but it was entirely to slow. On average I can rip a dvd to hd in 30min.

In a nutshell, buying some software will not help you speed up the process.

Assuming your ISO files are DVD Video images, then converting to 700Mb DivX at reasonable quality is a slow process. The framesize will need to be reduced and each frame built and re-encoded twice (two pass VBR). With my ageing PC, this can take anything from 6 to 15 hours, though the upper end tends to be when using HD sources. The CPU is the limiting factor (billions of floating point calculations) so use a modern PC with multi-core CPU and an app that supports multi-threading. Going 64bit might help also.

A 700mb mpg file of a standard length film would have pretty naff quality, unless you use a very small framesize.
