Hi, I just wanted to know if the SWF from http://www.babytv.com/baby-clip.aspx was downloadable?
    example video
    http://www.babytv.com/birthday-clip....d&bc=undefined

I already tried DownloadHelper and in Firefox tools>page info>media but all I get is the background video without the personlised head to go with it.

    Is it possible?

After viewing the swf clip from the website I found it in the Temporary Ineternet Folder. MPC will play the whole clip but will not show what filters are used and the statistics of the clip.

Tried Avisynth, Avidemux, VLC, Premiere Elements 8 and they wouldn't play or recgonize it. MediaInfo shows it as a 5 sec clip with no audio.

sorry, does that mean it's not possible then? With the personalised head?

The way the swf is formatted, is that the head is a separate piece, so it's not 1 video; I assume it's formatted like this to allow different user "heads"

When you check the video in the temp internet folder, the head is missing. KMPlayer and MPC will play it , just without the head

The only way to get the head in a video format (not embedded in a html webpage format), is to use a screen capture program ; or you can create your own swf since you have the background swf and animate the head (if you know how to) , by using a swf decompiler

I wasn't aware that you could screen capture video, can you reccommend a program?

The second option sounds a bit complicated for me.

I use camtasia, but you could try some of the screen recorder tools listed here. Camstudio is a freeware capture program, you can try that
