    not sure i want to have to wear 3d glasses to watch the evening news but it may be coming sooner rather than later.

    Given the list price of $21,000.00 USD, you won't be seeing many home movies made with this camera. Until the price comes down to a level that most of us can afford, we'll still have to go to the theatres to see 3D movies for the time being.

    A number of US stations will be running 3d channels from June this year to encourage the uptake of 3D TVs. Unfortunately, not only do you still need glasses, but it looks like they will be LCD shutter glasses, not polarised lens glasses.

    the lcd shutter format is not so bad (works great on my analog set), especially if that format will provide a newer device to use it on the HD/lcd tvs out now since the refresh rates to have it work properly do not fly with current tv sets.

    it took me for ever to pull the trigger and buy a refurb HDV cam for $499 .

    by the way .the camera reminds me of WALL-E
