I have a m2ts file that I downloaded and it is 4GB (exactly) and it is in 1080p. it plays on ps3's fine in amazing quality but not on my blu ray player, i was just wondering how to burn it onto a blank dvd with the same quality as I downloaded it with, but I want it to actually play as if it was a proper disc not a data disc or divx disc.

    Thanks

Convert to a AVCHD and most Blu-ray players may be able to display the video. https://www.videohelp.com/tools/sections/blu-ray-to-blu-ray-avchd

Or someone here may have some specific suggestions.

Use either multiavchd or tsmuxergui and select avchd as your output and burn with imgburn.

Thanks redwuz, i appreciate it, but after converting the movie and burning it would still think that it will be read on the blu ray player as a data disc

Yea i was thinking that, but does that mean that I can't simply just burn the m2ts file with imgburn to the disc
