New forum, vBulletin!

I have now finally decided to upgrade our forum to vBulletin. I was going to do it last year but had some problems with the layout and importing from phpbb but with the new vBulletin 4 it works better.

See how it looks like at http://forum3.videohelp.com/ . You can also login using your current username and password.

The layout is pretty similar to this one and you can also choose a blue layout or use vbulletins default(at the bottom left). I will probably upgrade this month even if I hadn't finished all tweaks yet.

if you go all the way to the bottom the change defaults works. the one on the side didn't for me either. you can even get it to look like this :-\

I will make the switch on tuesday, it should only take some hours BUT it will take some days until everything runs fine. And I will also keep fine tuning the layouts(standard and blue) for some weeks.

I like the V-Bulletin upgrade. Looks nice. Glad you kept the same basic layouts. I do miss the 'hover spots' for post count and system specs however.

Never mind the hover spot beef. Hadn't played around enough to see the little 'puter icon under my avatar.

Anyone else lost the ability to "view my posts"? Anything I posted prior to today does not come up when running the "all my posts" request in the new "view my" drop-down. This used to be a one-button function, convenient for auto-tracking threads of recent personal interest and checking what I might have posted in similar recent topics. Will this "view all my posts" search eventually work again under the new"view my" menu? Its doesn't right now...

I have to rebuild the search index before you can view all your posts.

It will take some DAYS until everything runs fine. I have tons of fine tuning to fix.
