Want to purchase good DVD Upconverting 2.0 USB Player in Canada

Hi there this is my first post.

I got frustrated with not being able to find a Philips 5990 for sale in Canada despite doing ~2hours of research today on the computer. The good news is I found your forum so hopefully I can get some assistance.

All my research pointed me to the Philips 5990 (I want to play .avi and Divx format movies off my usb drive). Unfortnately is seems like the 5990/92 has dissapeared from Canada online even though I found out on this forum that it was for sale in Canada back in August of 2008.

Can anyone help me out?

If the 5990 is no longer available in Canada can you suggest a reasonable alternative brand/model/link..?
