Queen size (used to be King size but wouldn't fit in smaller home) .

Tried to donate the King size but none of the Charities had a kiln big enough for it - Queen size was a large as they would accept.

Went to Craigs List - thought about offering it for free but thought that free might equal no-good, so priced it at $100 and was 'talked-down" to $50.

Made money and didn't have to take it to the dump.

Wife and I sleep on a king size bed. It is comfortable though. Nice thing is the bed is paid for. I'd seriously consider a tempurpedic except for the fact that I just can't afford another payment right now.

It does wonders for back pain! 8)
I tried the bounce-on-bed-wine-glass trick once, too (with water). It works. :P

  9. Isn't a single the same as a twin? I quess a double is the same as a full.

I have a queen size, it fits better in my bedroom and it was cheaper.

Single is 39 inches wide by 75 inches long and a double size is 54 inches by 75 inches,Queen size is 60 inches x 80 inches
and King size is 76 inches x 80 inches.

I sleep in a queen bed. Nice and roomy, but turning the mattress is a bit of a pain.

Twin beds are the same size a single, but frequently there are two of them in the room, hence the name. My parents have slept in twin beds all their married life, but the beds are connected by a single headboard. The two bed frames are hinged, so its easy to change the beds and turn the mattresses. I used to wonder why they didn't have a king-sized bed, but after making one a few times, I decided they had the right idea.

There's an extra-long twin too, which is what one of my nephews has.

I've slept on a king ever since I got married (24 years). My in-laws gave us a king-sized bed for a wedding present. It's hard to go back. 8)

We're working on our third one since then. It's a Restonic with dual pillow tops and we have no plans of replacing it any time soon. That's one damned comfortable mattress.

I'm in the same boat as dadrab -- married. If you want to stay happily married for 20+ years, you MUST have a king-sized bed.

  15. Wife and I share a Queen size bed with the cats.
It's a Sealy firm mattress with a 2.5" Termpurpedic pillow top attached to it. I hate the tempurpedic! Takes too much energy to roll over and worst of all the mattress is still firm and proper but the pillow top has an indentation on one side (my side -though we have now rotated it). We were told warranty won't cover it since the bed is a custom made platform and there is no box-spring.
I hated it from day one, but my wife is like the Princess in the Princess and the Pea story, so she likes soft and cushy.
Probably why she puts up with me...

You should include a Pillow Queen Bed ... that is what we sleep on ... they are comfortable but you can not turn the mattress over.

Betty ... our cute female pug ... is no longer allowed in our bedroom ... we now have a barrier blocking Betty and Bandit from coming into our bedroom.

See my original post ... yes we do have cats ... 4 cats born in our bedroom still stay in our bedroom and also Blackie ... a cat I brought back from the place I used to work at ... so we have 5 cats constantly moving around on our bed and in our bedroom.

We dont use our Heater in the house ... but we do have a electric blanket and the cats love sleeping on our bed :P

Cant even find that bed on google,it looks like a queen bed,too many types to list so if it resembles a queen bed it fits the category.
