ANYDVD HD Substitute

Does anybody know of another program that does exactly what ANYDVD HD does? I just installed Win 7, ultimate and it is having compatibilty issues. It crashes my Windows everytime I install it.

i think the only other choice is dvdfab.

did you turn off user access control and then run the installer as admin?

What do you mean it is crashing your windows, what is it doing? I have had absolutely no problems with AnyDVDHD & Win7.

I get Windows crashes, lockups, blue screen of death, etc. I have to go into safe mode and remove the program. I have even stopped it from loading at startup. I then start it and it locks the computer. Something is interfering with it.

Very odd, have you contacted Slysoft or Microsoft support? Excuse me, there is no such thing as MS support in my experience. The Slysoft forum might help.

I haven't heard anything about this AnyDVD crashing systems either. I've been running AnyDVD since the release of the Windows 7 RC and have had zero problems with it. Not even with the purchased copies I have. I run AnyDVD on my Dell Mini 9, 2 desktops and 1 notebook and 1 tablet PC. No problems what so ever. This sounds more like a hardware problem Windows is having with your system.
When you get BSOD, what does the text on the screen say? And BSOD is normally associated with hardware firmware conflicts

Maybe this will help, uninstall Anydvd, download Anydvd and right click on the AnyDVD install program and install as Administrator. If that doesn't work try the suggestion at the bottom of this thread:

Does DVDFAB 1:1 Copy keep original audio or does it down convert it like it does for other options, ANYDVD does not work on a few movies and i want to use BD Rebuilder but need the original video and audio before i use BD Rebuilder
