I ripped the VOB files off of my DVD but I have a slight problem.

Theres 18:32 minutes of the episode on the first VOB and the rest of the 2-3 minutes of it are on a second VOB along with the start of a whole other episode or video. Im wanting to put that whole episode into one AVI file.

How can I get the other 2-3 minutes of the episode off of the second VOB so I can combine it with the other 18:32 minutes and complete the whole episode on one file? Is there a way to combine VOB's into one so I can split it when encoding to AVI? How should I go about fixing this problem??

VOB2MPG will give you different titles as separate MPG files

VOBs are limited to one gigabyte by the DVD specification, so anything over that will be split to the next VOB. Look to the upper left on this page for the DVD specification, format and structure.

In most cases, each episode will be a separate title, so using VOB2MPG will split your VOBs into individual complete titles (episodes).

  6. Yeah, the mistake was decrypting the entire thing onto the hard drive when it's a simple matter using DVD Decrypter in IFO Mode to get the specific episode(s) you want.

With it on the hard drive, open the IFO for the episode using PGCDemux. If there are several episodes under the same IFO, open the IFO and in the drop-down box choose the episode (PGC) you want). If you don't want it demuxed, then check 'Create a PGC VOB'. That's another way from guns1inger's.

Based on what you said, you're confusing titles with VOBs. The various titles (PGCs) are contained within the VOBs and can extend into different VOBs. There's not much connection between the two.
