Hi there,
I recently purchased sony vegas movie studio pro and an HD camera.
after making a video and i go to render the video, if i select it as .mpeg file it comes out as an okay quality but it has smooth play back with no lines.
however, the quality isnt great.
when i try rendering as a .avi file the quality comes out as really choppy and lines through the video. however, the actual video quality is unbelievable!
i was wondering how i could render my videos as an .avi file without any lines or choppy play back?
i heard something about deinterlacing my videos but i am not sure how to do that or if it would work.
tips and comments would be greatly appreciated!!
thanks a lot,
reece
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Reece, what settings you are using to render the video into AVI? Did you test this avi file on more than one video player ie windows media player, divs player, vlc player?
