convert mkv with subtitles to ps3

I have a foreign language mkv with subtitles (not a separate subtitle file, they are just built in to the mkv i guess). i want to convert it for play on ps3. when i use mkv2vob, i just get the vid with no subtitles, even if i tell it to include subtitles. subtitles arent even an option in the outputted file. how can i fix this?

Try extract the subtitle with mkvextract and then add it in mkv2vob.
