    Hi I am wondering if anyone would be able to help me,
    I would like to stream a few LIVE streaming mms:// files which I believe are using windows media encoder to broadcast, and stream them on my site in MPEG for the iPhone.

    My questions is can FFmpeg take live streaming video and make it another formate, and how.

    Try instead VLC. It can take mms(if it has no DRM encryption) and convert to another format. Under File -> Media / Convert.
