VOB2MPG Problem - MPG Duration Appears Incorrect

First off I must just say that this is the program I've been looking years for, ever since i got a dvd handcam. Being able to automatically split a home dvd into mpg chapters is fantastic, after using vobblanker or Video Studio and doing it manually.

The problem I have is that some of the chapters that are extracted have the wrong duration, for instance I've extracted a chapter that VOB2MPG Pro lists the time as 00:25:12.24 - 00:26:05.07, approx 52 seconds, but the extracted mpg when shown in VLC or Video Studio has a duration of 15 seconds. VLC will play for about 18 seconds while Video Studio will stop at 15 seconds. I have been able to extract smaller chapters, anything upto 18 seconds, without any problem, the mpg file duration is correct. I tried using the Recalculate GOP timecodes option, but it didn't make any difference.

Hi,

Cam DVDs can have a non standard structure, which may explain what you are experiencing. Is it possible for you to email me the Title_1_Ch_39.mpg file so i can take a look and try to fix it?
