hey guys, i'm new to this forum. really appreciate if you can help

i have a sony SR45 Hard drive camcorder, and i'm trying to upload that to edit in premiere cs4

problem is, when i try to play it (with default quicktime), it says it doesnt support that format. (i think mpg).

Then I copy the files from the camcorder to the mac, and it doesnt play,

If I import it into premiere, it might play the video but not the audio?


Can anyone help me? I need to edit a video tonight and this is insane!
