I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but here I go. I have a couple Blu-ray discs I'd like to encode to some video file format. So far I been using Mp4 via handbrake for my DVDs. I stumbled across Ripbot264, which seems to do the job and is easy to use, but was wondering if there was anything better out out there? Also had another question if I may, I'm having trouble with the aspect ratio. One of the movies I have has a 2.40:1 aspect ratio and I thought I set it correctly so I would not get black bars during playback with VideoLAN, but I did. Any tips there? Thanks for any help.

Ripbot264 is the best all-in-one solution.

You must crop the video in ripbot264. Did you use the autocrop ?

And I'm moving you to our blu-ray ripping and conversion section.

Thanks Baldrick. Looks like I was setting it to automatic. I did it again and it looked much better. Thanks again.
