dvd+r dl using tmpgenc 3.0

Can tmpgenc author 3.0 be used to reliably burn dvd+r dl disks without too many headaches ?
Does anyone have any firsthand experience ?

why take a chance? imgburn is free and the best burning app around.

Since this is a Christmas project for a friend and time is of the essence, can I use tmpgenc which I already know to build the audio and video ts files and then use imgburn to burn ? I promise later to learn imgburn because it does seem to be the consensus burning software of choice ...

Use tmpgenc to output the folder and then burn the VIDEO_TS with imgburn.

I created a video_ts file using tmpgenc author 3.0. I burned this to a verbatim dvd+r dl using imgburn. It worked perfectly on the first try. I'm shocked when anything I attempt works on the first try.
