Pinnacle and plugins e.g. levels like Virtualdub

I posted earlier-

I have a Canon Legria HV40 and Pinnacle Studio 12 Ultimate as well as some plugins i.e. Mercalli etc.

I previously was able to use a lot of features with Virtualdub, the one I liked most was to get an exposure black/white histogram, to change an under or overexposed piece "levels", or to sharpen a specific piece, etc. Is there a plugin/s like that that to use in Pinnacle, or does one need to change it in Virtualdub and import back again?

Are there other plugins for Pinnacle that anyone knows about- I've paid a lot to come this far, any free ones available on the internet??
