Panasonic DMR EH50 not picking up digital channels

Hi,I have had a problem with my recorder ever since the last digital re-tune on 2nd Dec.Previously I could pick up all terrestrial channels, and they would be numbered on my recorder, so I could record channels with ease.However,now the recorder does not pick up any digital channels, and I can only record digital channels through my t.v on the Av1 channel on the recorder, but if I change the input on my t.v from digital to anything else,the recording ends. Can anyone help? Will I have to buy a recorder with built in freeview to solve this problem?

I'm not in the UK nor have I ever used freview but I do own a EH-50 and a digital TV that outputs a video signal.
You will need to get a stand alone freeview box that you can run to your EH-50's Av1. The problem with using your TV's output is every time your turn it OFF, change channels or switch inputs it will effect the output to your Panny.
